The ChatJP2 platform, including its software, design, branding, logos, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of ChatJP2. This includes the mobile application, web widget, admin dashboard, and all associated services.

Parish Content Ownership

ChatJP2 serves as an AI-powered interface that helps parishioners access information their church has already made publicly available. This content includes, but is not limited to:

• Mass schedules and sacrament times
• Parish event listings and program descriptions
• Staff and contact information
• Newsletter and bulletin content
• Ministry and volunteer information
• Any other information published by the parish on its website or through its communications

ChatJP2 does not claim any ownership rights over parish content. Each church retains full intellectual property rights to the information it publishes, regardless of whether that information is accessed through the ChatJP2 platform.

How Content Is Used

ChatJP2 indexes publicly available information from participating parish websites and email communications solely for the purpose of providing AI-assisted answers to parishioner questions. Specifically:

• Content is used only to generate responses for the parish that owns it
• Parish data is isolated — one parish's content is never shared with or used to answer questions about another parish
• Churches may request removal of their content from the ChatJP2 platform at any time
• No parish content is sold, licensed, or shared with third parties

AI-Generated Responses

ChatJP2 uses artificial intelligence to generate conversational responses based on parish content. These AI-generated responses are provided for informational convenience only and should not be considered official parish communications. Users should always verify important details directly with their parish office.

"ChatJP2" and the ChatJP2 logo are trademarks of ChatJP2. All other trademarks, church names, logos, and brand identifiers mentioned within the platform are the property of their respective owners.

Third-Party Services

ChatJP2 utilizes third-party services including OpenAI for natural language processing and Google Cloud for infrastructure. Use of these services is governed by their respective terms. ChatJP2 does not transfer ownership of parish content to any third-party service provider.
